I created Bridge to (Every)where and You Can Live Here during a time in my life when everything I thought was stable had dissolved. I was in between worlds — between countries, between identities, between versions of myself. I was searching not just for a place to live, but for a place to belong.
My life had been turned upside down. I felt unanchored, afraid, and creatively paralyzed. Yet within that uncertainty, something began to surface. These works became my way back to myself.
In Bridge to (Every)where, the landscape fractures and reforms — washes of color bleed into one another, suspended forms hover between earth and sky, and a bridge stretches across the composition like a quiet promise. The bridge is not simply architectural; it is psychological. It speaks to the fragile yet necessary crossings we make when we step into the unknown. The floating fragments, the delicate outlines of figures, the tension between weight and suspension all reflect that feeling of standing at the threshold of change.

Creé Bridge to (Every)where y You Can Live Here en un momento de mi vida en el que todo aquello que creía estable se había disuelto. Estaba entre mundos —entre países, entre identidades, entre versiones de mí misma—. No buscaba únicamente un lugar donde vivir, sino un lugar al que pudiera pertenecer.
Mi vida se había puesto de cabeza. Me sentía sin anclaje, asustada y creativamente paralizada. Sin embargo, dentro de esa incertidumbre algo comenzó a emerger. Estas obras se convirtieron en mi camino de regreso hacia mí misma.
En Bridge to (Every)where, el paisaje se fragmenta y se recompone —veladuras de color se funden unas con otras, formas suspendidas flotan entre la tierra y el cielo, y un puente atraviesa la composición como una promesa silenciosa—. El puente no es simplemente arquitectónico; es psicológico. Habla de los cruces frágiles pero necesarios que realizamos cuando nos adentramos en lo desconocido. Los fragmentos flotantes, los delicados contornos de las figuras y la tensión entre el peso y la suspensión reflejan esa sensación de estar en el umbral del cambio.
