Christine Ross

 

1988 Alberta, Canada 

Christine Ross paints surrealist figurative works that explore the emotional complexity of human existence and interaction.


After a successful 15-year career as a power engineer in the oil and gas industry, she chose to pursue her passion for art and transition into a full-time artistic practice. She currently lives and works in Zapopan, Mexico, where she is dedicated to her career as a full-time artist. 


Throughout her journey as an artist, she has sold more than 100 works worldwide, consolidating her presence in the art world. Her practice is primarily based in acrylic, though she also incorporates materials such as clay, plaster, handmade paper, and natural fibers. This diversity of techniques enriches her visual language and adds texture and emotion to her work. 


Christine’s pieces have been acquired by collectors and galleries around the world.

Christine Ross pinta obras figurativas surrealistas que exploran la complejidad emocional de la existencia humana y de la interacción entre las personas.


Después de una exitosa carrera de 15 años como ingeniera de energía en la industria del petróleo y gas, decidió seguir su pasión por el arte y hacer la transición hacia una práctica artística de tiempo completo. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Zapopan, México, donde se dedica plenamente a su carrera como artista.


A lo largo de su trayectoria artística, ha vendido más de 100 obras en distintas partes del mundo, consolidando su presencia dentro del ámbito artístico. Su práctica se basa principalmente en el acrílico, aunque también incorpora materiales como arcilla, yeso, papel hecho a mano y fibras naturales. Esta diversidad de técnicas enriquece su lenguaje visual y añade textura y emoción a su obra.


Las piezas de Christine han sido adquiridas por coleccionistas y galerías alrededor del mundo.
