Do you know the expression “fake it till you make it”? I think imposter syndrome has followed me for most of my life — in my professional career and in my creative journey. Musical Chairs emerges from that space. The inverted repetition suggests reflection, duality, internal confrontation. Two versions of the same self: the one that maintains composure and the one that unravels. “Musical chairs” implies constant motion and the risk of being left without a place. For me, it represents that persistent feeling of competing for space, trying to occupy a seat without ever fully believing it belongs to you.
