Do you know the expression “fake it till you make it”? I think imposter syndrome has followed me for most of my life — in my professional career and in my creative journey. Musical Chairs emerges from that space. The inverted repetition suggests reflection, duality, internal confrontation. Two versions of the same self: the one that maintains composure and the one that unravels. “Musical chairs” implies constant motion and the risk of being left without a place. For me, it represents that persistent feeling of competing for space, trying to occupy a seat without ever fully believing it belongs to you. This version has a more realistic, detailed style which was new.

¿Conoces la expresión “finge hasta que lo logres”? Creo que el síndrome del impostor me ha acompañado durante la mayor parte de mi vida — tanto en mi carrera profesional como en mi trayectoria creativa. Musical Chairs surge de ese espacio.
La repetición invertida sugiere reflexión, dualidad y confrontación interna. Dos versiones del mismo yo: la que mantiene la compostura y la que se desmorona.
“Sillas musicales” implica movimiento constante y el riesgo de quedarse sin lugar. Para mí, representa esa sensación persistente de competir por un espacio, de intentar ocupar un asiento sin llegar a creer del todo que te pertenece. Esta versión tiene un estilo más realista y detallado, lo cual fue nuevo completamente.
